The TLDR: The Toads got sick of Princess Peach getting taken by Bowser at least three to four times each week, so they decided to get some "Reserve Princesses". But now which one of them will have the honor to replace the beloved Ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom? It should be someone able to escape for quite a while from Bowser's Minions. You will get to pick three promising candidates and help each of them win the first place in the competition. Whoever can escape the Toads the longest gets to be their new (temporary) ruler. The rest of the girl will stay there as Prisoners, maybe getting their chance another time...
